I am looking for a derm to refer clients to as I see suspicious moles and/or skin issues beyond my scope of license. I’d love to offer you a free facial so you can see what I do, that way we can refer to each other for services we don’t offer to our own clients.
I have been doing skin care services and have had my own organic skincare line for 10 years in January. I started in Oregon and owned 3 spas there before moving to Georgia a little over a year ago. I am trained to spot skin cancer by the Oregon Health and Science University “Skin Crew” program; I’m a certified Oncology Esthetics Esthetician; I also have advanced training in skin conditions and skin issues and reactions caused by medications and systemic diseases like: methotrexate & other cancer and immune disorder treatments, thyroid and other hormonal linked skin conditions like melasma, acne causes and treatments as well as the scarring that results from persistent cystic acne, Rosacea triggers and treatments, severely sensitive and compromised skin and how to gently treat it and create proper home skin care routines to repair barrier function, slow oil production and recreate skin stasis and healthy skin.
I, myself have had skin cancer and many moles removed in my life, and I suffer from MCAS, a mast cell condition, that makes my body and skin extremely reactive to a lot of things. I do my research and I am constantly educating myself on all things skin. New science, new beauty treatments, new product Ingredients. I even regularly attend nursing and doctoral training to learn how to answer client questions and refer my clients to trusted doctors for advanced treatments that I cannot perform (Botox, skin resurfacing, cosmetic surgery). I pride myself on my ability to offer the best client care, even if I’m not the one providing the service.
